School girls who  were taken away by the Bokoharam on February 19, 2018 have returned home Report reaching TNN is that Five of the 110 girls has died in Boko Haram's custody. It will be recalled that Girls of Government school in Dapchi were whisked Away from their school over a month. According to Sahara Reporters, the terrorists arrived Dapchi 9 vehicles with the Giels in them the  same way they took them away.

Most media platforms claim that the school authorities said that at least 94 girls are missing after a head count conducted on Tuesday, February 20, 2018. The Nigeria Army and the police command are yet to give a figure of casualties or missing persons following the insurgents' attack on the village on Monday night, February 19, 2018. The Government secondary school   has been closed down while education authorities and security forces in the state began efforts to locate the missing students.

Troops in Operation LAFIYA DOLE have been making tremendous progress in the ongoing Operation DEEP PUNCH 2 in the various Sectors. So far, the troops have neutralized over 50 Boko Haram terrorists, destroyed and captured high calibre arms and ammunition, especially in the Lake Chad general area.  Troops on Monday 8th January 2018, cleared Boko Haram terrorists in Metele village, Tumbun Gini and Tumbun Ndjamena. During the clearance operations, Boko Haram terrorists abandoned the area in disarray leaving behind livestock, large quantity of foodstuff, motorcycles and donkeys. Also in Metele however, the terrorists attempted to attack troops in harbour, but this was stiffly resisted with heavy casualty on Boko Haram terrorists.
