The 3rd Annual Mike Omotosho Public lecture, theme "Millenials as Protagonists in Nation Building" held at the Yar Adua centre, Abuja yesterday. Having become a tradition of the Mike Omotosho Foundation since 2016 when the public lecture began, it is aimed at focusing discourse on much needed development progress for Nigeria and indeed Africa.
The public lecture holds every January 14 which is the birth date of the foundation's founder, Mike Omotosho and has delved into "povert eradication" in 2016, then "Agricultural reform" in 2017 and "Millenials in Nation building" this year.
In attendance were the creme de la creme of Nigeria, from Industry experts, politicians, Religious leaders, Activists and people across all strata of society especially with a passion to change the Nigeria governance narrative.
The Keynote speaker was the much respected Ex Governor of Cross River state, Donald Duke and a vibrant Panel discussion held with Linus Okorie, Japhet Omojuwa, Aisha Augie-kuta, Annie Essienette, Love Idoko, Ahmed Buhari and moderated by Osasu Igbinedion.Awards were also presented to deserving individuals including Donald Duke, NAPTIP DG, and others.
