HOW GLOBAL LEADERS AND ENTREPRENEURS ARRIVED FOR HIVE AFRICA GLOBAL LEADERS PROGRAM IN NIGERIA + ALBUM



Nigeria is once again hosting the 5th edition of the Hive Africa Global Leaders Program and is at Lilygate Hotel, Lekki, Lagos. It began yesterday evening at 1600 hours (Nigerian time).


The program is a 4 days immersive type experience that hosts leaders and entrepreneurs from across the globe. It began in 2014, founded by Ryan Allis and is a global movement of leaders solving humanity's greatest challenges.

Delegates have arrived from 12 countries:

Switzerland

Then the opening session started at about 4pm (Nigerian time) with a warm up session led by Playshop artiste, Joseph Nwishienyi and Hive alumni and leaders, as a welcome to new delegates.












The Moderator, Bryte Chinule was on fire as he coordinated the proceedings for the evening with the Hive Africa CEO, Grace Osula explaining the vision and expectations of Hive.

 The first award by Hive Africa was presented to Naomi Osemedua, of Women with stories. The award was the "Hive Africa Community Support Award". Congratulations!












































































































































































Ethiopian delegates recognize the Hive Africa CEO, Grace Osula for her support and for bringing Hive to Africa. They styled her in the Ethiopian attire and flag. Beautiful moments! Today, is Ethiopian New year too. Happy New year Ethiopia.

NGO Seeks to Promote Reading Culture In Rural Area Through Book Donations

“Life-Long Learning is the Future” says Chimeremnma Hope Ulukwu, the Founder of WholeLife Initiative for Development in Africa a nongovernmental organization established out of the passion to promote development in Nigeria and Africa at large through education. Their maiden project which is the Book Donation Campaign aims to resuscitate and promote the reading culture among students in Nigeria.  The Book Donation Campaign involves gathering and donations of new and fairly used books. The aim is to update the quality of the school libraries in the rural and urban areas of Abuja, donation will take place at Calvary Love Academy, Jikwoyi, Phase 2 Extension, Abuja on Saturday, June 30, 2018.
