NIGERIAN NAOMI OSEMEDUA WINS FIRST HIVE AFRICA COMMUNITY SUPPORT AWARD

The Hive Africa Global Leaders Program is a 4 days immersive experience that hosts leaders from across the world to a bouquet of mindfulness, purpose, entrepreneurship and networking. Since it began in 2017 in Africa after the global front 2014, yesterday was the first Hive Africa Community Support Award given, and the winner is Naomi Osemedua.

It was a surprise when she was called up, having been invited as a speaker as also a Board member for the global movement.

Naomi was recognised for her immense contribution to Hive Africa and actively inspiring change drawing from her philosophy of "why be local when you can be global" and is on a journey to die empty.

She has been in the limelight due to her grass to grace story of finding her voice from being a nursing mother and now an internationally sought after speaker.

Great award to a deserving icon indeed.

African Women Inspire Network (AWIN) Wins at Launch; Unveils Executives and Kickstarts Operations in Africa

A business and mentorship focused women driven organisation African Women Inspire Network (AWIN) has launched Operations in Africa with Nigeria as the headquarters. This organisation was founded by a Nigerian woman, and the convener of African Hair Summit, Mrs. Adanna Enwezor in Nigeria's capital city Abuja. Focused on women supporting women and reaching all classes of women, AWIN promises to change the narrative of women not supporting each other and revolutionise what women in concert can achieve in contribution of a better Africa. The event which held on Saturday, March 3, 218 at Nisa Wellness Retreat owned by Mrs. Rabi Wada kicks off the operation of the organisation and will also be planted in all African countries in the coming years. The Nigerian executives were also inducted at the ceremony and the vision, mission and chant for the organised were unveiled.
