I Was Encouraged by Emmanuel Ogbeche As NUJ Chairman by Award as COVID-19 Hero – Mr. Vast.

 



While many families and individuals across the world would look back with nostalgia at the yarns suffered during the Covid-19 era, Nigeria pharmacist, Mr Vast Emordi has said that he was encouraged to go through the phase by the award as covid -19 hero, given to him by the Fct council of the Nigerian union of journalist, NUJ. Headed by Emmanuel Ogbeche.

The pharmacist who heads a chain of businesses under the name: Vastovers group also congratulated comrade Emmanuel Ogbeche on his recent appointment as the chief press Secretary to the Crossrivers state government. He described Ogbeche as a consummate journalist and one who identifies and encourages people to do great works for society.


The pharmacist and philanthropist who revealed that he has received numerous awards and recognitions such as Best graduating student, Modebe Memorial Secondary School, Onitsha, Anambra State, 2008.

Honored with the ICON OF NIGERIA YOUTH AND PEACE AMBASSADOR at national youth summit, act 1, Abuja in 2021.

Special Award of Recognition for Proficient Service Delivery to Humanity by the Niger Delta Asset Organization in January 2021.

An award of special recognition by the Abuja chapter of the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria, 2022.

Recognitions by THINK TANK, NAPTIP and the Director General of NYSC in 2020.

Recognition by Human Right Awareness Initiative for my detribalized contributions in ensuring peace and unity in my community, 2021.

An amazing Boss award by members of staff of the Vastovers Group of Companies in December 2022.

He stated that the award by the union cams as an encouragement to him at the time when dark shadows was cast on the world. He stated that after the award he was propelled to support more organization with food, relief materials and drugs.

NGO Seeks to Promote Reading Culture In Rural Area Through Book Donations

“Life-Long Learning is the Future” says Chimeremnma Hope Ulukwu, the Founder of WholeLife Initiative for Development in Africa a nongovernmental organization established out of the passion to promote development in Nigeria and Africa at large through education. Their maiden project which is the Book Donation Campaign aims to resuscitate and promote the reading culture among students in Nigeria.  The Book Donation Campaign involves gathering and donations of new and fairly used books.
